just like new

I loaded my 18 electric Poulan to someone and when I got it back it wouldn’t cut anything. From Amazon I purchase 2 chains to get the free shipping and saved over $20.00 on the two that I would have paid at a big box store; yes, I went there first. When I put the new chain on and adjusted it, she cut just like when I took it out of the box the first time. Thank you – Amazon.

Quality does not compare to original chain

Does not seem to be made of the same quality as the chain that came with the Poulan I purchased. Need to sharpen it quite often after just cutting a few logs. Once sharpened it works OK again but all the wear and tear plus al the sharpening will result in a short life for this product. I made sure the tension was not too tight. Next time I will do a little more research a far as where the item was manufactured.

after 1 glitch, the pp400e works great

Right out of the box, the Poulan Pro 400E had a broken trigger mechanism. After the local Poulan repair shop (Sharpening Mechanics, San Jose, CA) repaired the pp400e, it worked great. This electric chain saw has more than enough power for any small tree trimming task. Be sure to read all precautions before using this, or any other, chain saw.

I expect this chain to work as well as the chain on my new Poulan Chainsaw and there is nothing worse than being in the middle of sawing and having a dull chain!

Beware — this is not 2 chains

I purchased this item thinking that it was a reasonable price for 2 chains. However I only received 1 chain — when I asked the vendor (Builder Depot) about this they said the ad was in error, told me to keep the 1 chain I received, and gave me a full refund. So, beware, the ad is in error, but the Vendor is very honest and a pleasure to deal with.
